I use this as my daily moisturiser. Excellent for dry skin, I adore it! I am grateful to you, wakeup skin.

THIS is, by a wide margin, my favourite daily moisturiser! You only need a tiny bit, and it rapidly seeps into my dry skin. You need to stay hydrated all day and all night if you live in a high-desert environment with less than 15% humidity.
My skin looks young and fresh, and my face feels wonderful. Makeup applies more smoothly and lasts longer.

Particularly during the winter when I get dry patches on my face, this significantly moisturises my skin. Smooth like silk.

Aqua, Polysorbate 60, Light Liquid Paraffin, Glycerine, Isopropyl myristate, Cetostearyl alcohol, Dimethicone, Stearic acid, Polyisobutylene, Caprylic Capric Triglyceride,Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl hexyl glycerin, Sorbitan Stearate, Triethanolamine, Carbomer, Sodium Gluconate, Butylatedhydroxy toluene,Fragrance, Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugarcane) Extract, Citric Acid, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Tartaric Acid, Malic Acid, Vitamin E

Polysorbate 60 : Some polysorbates are made from the food element sorbitol, which naturally occurs in many fruits, while others have a fatty acid component. Polysorbates serve as emulsifiers and also have modest surfactant capabilities. In addition to being exceedingly stable and secure, polysorbates are thought to be non-toxic and safe when used in the concentrations seen in cosmetics.

Light Liquid Paraffin : Light Liquid Paraffin oil is extremely refined and fully safe for skin. As an emollient, it keeps your skin from drying out.

Glycerine : Glycerin is a naturally occurring ingredient in skin that replenishes and restores skin, aiding in the maintenance of normal balance and moisture. It is one of the many compounds in skin that contribute to preserving a healthy appearance and feel by fending off dryness and preserving skin's moisture content. Glycerin, which excels at hydrating, performs best when mixed with other rehydrating and emollient substances.

Isopropyl myristate : It is an emollient and texture enhancer found in cosmetics. Research has also shown that it can improve the way that chemicals in a cosmetic product are absorbed. Isopropyl myristate is frequently criticised for being a particularly problematic pore-clogging component, although this criticism is based on out-of-date research that doesn't take into account how this chemical is used in modern cosmetics.

Cetostearyl alcohol : It is utilised to thicken and stabilise cosmetic goods, such as lotions and hair products, as well as to soften the skin and hair. Cettostearyl alcohol  is regarded as an efficient emollient for calming and treating dry skin.

Dimethicone : A non-volatile/linear silicone, or dimethicone, is a particular kind of silicone. Because of its efficacy and gentleness, it is one of the most popular emollient (softening) ingredients in moisturisers.

Stearic acid : Stearic acid is a useful fatty acid that is used in skin care products as an emollient, emulsifier, cleaning agent, and component that improves texture. It has been demonstrated to strengthen the skin's defences and stop water loss from the skin's surface.

Polyisobutylene : Polyisobutene functions as a binder, film forming, and nonaqueous viscosity-increasing agent in cosmetic goods. There are many applications for hydrogenated polyisobutene in cosmetic formulations as a skin-conditioning agent, emollient, and nonaqueous viscosity-increasing agent.

Caprylic Capric Triglyceride : Caprylic/capric triglyceride, which is made from glycerin and coconut oil, is regarded as a superior emollient and skin-nourishing component. The combination of fatty acids in it replenishes skin's surface and aids in preventing moisture loss, which is noteworthy.
However, the primary purpose of caprylic/capric triglyceride is to hydrate and nourish skin. It can also serve as a thickening or penetration enhancer.

Due to the fact that it is regarded as mild, this substance has better benefits for skin. Caprylic/capric triglyceride is a viscous liquid that is clear when used as a raw material. The spreadability of a formula is known to be improved.

Ethylhexyl Palmitate : Ethylhexyl palmitate, a combination of a fatty alcohol and palmitic acid, serves as an emollient (meaning it can soften and smooth skin), texture enhancer, and solvent in cosmetic products in levels ranging from 2 to 50%, depending on the type of formula and desired aesthetics. By assisting in lowering moisture loss from the skin's upper layers, it enhances the appearance of skin, especially dry skin. As a solvent, it aids in the solubilization of other components, facilitating easier skin penetration of active substances.

Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl hexyl glycerin : A combination of skin emollients, antimicrobials, and preservatives necessary to keep the formula fresh and prevent microbial growth.

Sorbitan Stearate : The main purpose of sorbitan stearate is to improve the texture of cosmetic and skin care products by acting as an emulsifier. It may also serve as a dispersion agent and aids in stabilising and thickening the formulation.

Triethanolamine : Triethanolamine, usually referred to as TEA, is a pH stabiliser and emulsion stabiliser used in cosmetics. It has the capacity to produce nitrosamines, much as all amines.

Carbomer : A group of synthetic ingredients called carbomers are used largely to make formulations that resemble gels in skin care products. They can also thicken or adjust viscosity, which can have additional effects on the texture of a product.

Sodium Gluconate : This synthetic component bonds to metal ions to make skin care products more stable. It also functions as a humectant, aiding skin in retaining moisture.

Butylatedhydroxy toluene : BHT, also known as butylated hydroxytoluene, is a strong synthetic antioxidant that is occasionally added to help stabilise chemicals in cosmetic products that are susceptible to air and light, like retinol and unsaturated fatty acids.

Lactic Acid : Lactic acid removes dead skin cells from the skin's surface when used in a formulation with the proper pH (preferably between 3 and 4), between 5 to 12% concentration. By dissolving the substance holding dead skin together, it achieves this and restores the natural shedding of the skin. The natural moisturising factor, or NMF, of the skin, sodium lactate, which is a component of lactic acid, also possesses hydrating qualities.

The skin's barrier is strengthened by lactic acid by stimulating the production of additional ceramides. It also has a significant impact on the microbiome of the skin, which helps to maintain the health of the skin's first line of defence.

Glycolic Acid : Glycolic acid is a type of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that, like other chemicals in the group, can function as a water-binding agent and, when applied properly and in concentrations of 5% or above, as an exfoliant. There are different AHAs, but glycolic acid has by far the most data supporting it.

Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit Extract : The bilberry, a dark berry resembling blueberries, is the source of Vaccinium myrtillus fruit extract, which is recognised to be an especially good source of the antioxidants known as anthocyanins. Anthocyanins strengthen the skin's resistance to environmental stressors (such harmful UV radiation), which can delay the appearance of wrinkles, dark patches, and other ageing symptoms.

Saccharum Officinarum (Sugarcane) Extract : It is derived from sugarcane. Although sugarcane extract has some exfoliating effects, they are not as strong as those of glycolic acid, which is also derived from the plant.

Citric Acid : Citrus fruit extracts like citric acid are used sparingly to reduce the pH of items so they don't become overly basic or alkaline.

Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract : Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract is frequently mentioned as an ingredient because of its mild, all-natural exfoliating abilities. It mostly comprises citric acid and a small amount of malic acid, AHA exfoliates recognised for their ability to regenerate skin. Numerous other active substances, including the antioxidant vitamin C and flavonoids, which have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, are known to be abundant in orange fruit.

Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract : Hyperpigmented skin benefits greatly from lemon extract because it helps to lighten the skin's tone and fades dark spots.

Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract : It cleans the skin of bacteria and dead skin buildup, repairs free radical damage, and stops the development of new wrinkles and blemishes.

Tartaric Acid :Many plants, including grapes and tamarinds, contain tartaric acid, a naturally occurring crystalline organic acid. One of the main acids in wine is this one. Alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) tartaric acid is an antioxidant, however its effects on the skin have not been studied as thoroughly as those of glycolic and lactic acids.

Malic Acid : A natural fruit extract called malic acid is used as a skin-exfoliant. As a byproduct of converting carbs into energy, it also happens naturally in human bodies. Despite the fact that it contains a beta hydroxy acid, it is primarily categorised as an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) because the beta hydroxyl group is thought to be overpowered by the hydroxyl group in the alpha position. The typical beta hydroxy acid salicylic acid is known to be oil-soluble, however this substance is not.

Vitamin E : Vitamin E is a vital fat-soluble antioxidant that has been used in dermatology for more than 50 years. It is a crucial component in numerous cosmetic products. By functioning as a free-radical scavenger, it shields the skin against a variety of damaging effects caused by sun radiation.
